A Dark Portrait of Life Painted in Color

I currently have enough material (music, art, writing, photography) to post on a weekly basis for the next year (thus my long absence). This is a wonderful, yet scary feeling to have. Wonderful, because I know that I have the material lined up, and ready for an audience. Scary, because I worry if I myself will have changed so much a year from now, that I wouldn’t have produced the material had it been current that week. Either way, I’m going to stick with this concept, and post on a weekly basis with this in mind. A primary goal of mine is to always outperform what I’ve created yesterday. I realize that not every song, piece of art, writing, or photograph is going to be the same, but I aim to improve upon each release in all aspects possible.

Here’s to a year of improved upon songs, pieces of art and music. I’m confident my creative work will lend itself well to a business side of things as well.

I’m a father, musician, artist, writer, photographer, designer, and storyteller – among other things. I graduated from Central Columbia High School in 2006, and from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2008. I’ve worked primarily as a CAD Design Technician since graduating, holding a couple of odd jobs in-between employment in my field of study. I’ve lived in just about every region of Pennsylvania, having grown up in Berwick, my secondary education held in Williamsport, and then moving for work back to Williamsport, then to Jersey Shore, to Lebanon, and finally to Cornwall, where I live in my home with my son, part-time. Feel free to reach me at jp (at) jpweidemoyer.com. Thanks, and be well.
